Movement is how we return home to ourselves.

I first stepped onto a yoga mat in 1999. Back then, I was seeking movement; what I found over the next two decades was a way of being.

After twenty years of personal practice, I formally qualified as a Yoga Teacher in 2019. However, my fascination with the "why" behind our holding patterns led me deeper. In 2021, I qualified as a Somatic Movement Educator, allowing me to bridge the gap between ancient yogic wisdom and modern neuromuscular science.

This 25-year journey has taught me that the most profound shifts don’t happen through force or perfect aesthetics—they happen in the quiet, honest conversation between the brain and the body.

What to expect when we work together

Sessions are less about "working out" and more about "working in." My goal is to facilitate an environment where your nervous system feels safe enough to explore, release, and reorganise.

  • From Performance to Presence: We trade "perfect alignment" for authentic expression. I offer invitations to notice how a movement feels rather than how it looks.
  • Rewiring the Connection: Using Somatic principles, we work to dismantle "sensory-motor amnesia"—those places where the body has forgotten how to relax—and replace them with functional ease.
  • Nervous System Regulation: Every session is a container for down-regulating the stress response, moving you out of "fight or flight" and into a state of rest and repair.
  • Long-term Resilience: We aren't just looking for a temporary stretch; we are looking for lasting neuroplasticity change that stays with you long after you leave the mat.
