In this course, you will:

  • Learn Pandiculation: A powerful technique to lengthen muscles without stretching, reducing tightness at the root.
  • Reset Your Nervous System: Specifically helpful for those who feel their "stress response" (sympathetic nervous system) is always active or struggle with anxiety.
  • Discover Small Moves, Big Changes: These gentle movements impact your real life—from walking and yoga to everyday tasks like reaching overhead or turning your head to reverse your car.
    Somatic exercises are simple and accessible, yet deep and transformative.
    This course is open to anyone who wants to move beyond pain & tension and into ease and relaxation.

Hanna Somatics helps you identify and resolve dysfunctional movement patterns that your brain has adopted over time—patterns you might not even be aware of.

Nervous System Reset: This series of classes is specifically designed to soothe the sympathetic nervous system (your “fight or flight” response). If you struggle with anxiety or high stress, these movements provide a deep sense of calm.

Norwich Regular Weekly Somatic Yoga Class

Somatic Yoga every Monday
6pm - 7 pm

A blend of Hannah Somatics and Hatha flow yoga - Gentle movement, Meditation, Breath work to bring your system back to balance. Feel more relaxed in your soma.

Hanna Somatics is a gentle, brain-to-muscle education process. It helps you identify and resolve dysfunctional movement patterns that you’re unaware of—patterns caused by stress, injury, or habit.

What is somatics and how can it help you to help yourself

Why rely on other people to fix you from the outside when you are the only person in the world who knows what it feels like be you living in your aware, alive , awake, thinking, breathing conscious body or Soma.

Stress, tension, emotional & physical trauma, accidents, one sided sports and postural habits can all cause our muscles to contract down specific pathways of the body.
